Play and ASD

I found a conference of the development of the play in kids with TEA.

She talks about the importance of play in the psychological development of children. It focuses on the difficulties that children with ASD have in this area, especially in the social part of the game.

Explain the most appropriate characteristics and modalities of the game to relocate children with ASD in the process of learning social skills, both emotional and communicative.

Some of the ideas he gives to improve interaction in the game are: -Create a rich environment of stimulation. -Introduce attractive, fun and motivating games. -Share the game with the child, so that it is a positive experience. -Establish game routines. -Anticipate what will happen. -Take advantage of the child's interests. -Use visual support. -Delimit the playing area. -Speak in simple language avoiding confusing messages.
