I would like to introduce all of you this game. RECOGNeyes is a game developed by the University of Nottingham in collaboration with people with ADHD. This computer game is played by using your eyes as the game controller. It has been designed to train people to have better control over their attention. As the game continues you learn to control different aspects of your visual attention system.
Altough game has been developed as an intervention for training attention in ADHD, it may also have wider applications such as helping people with dyslexia, autism and other conditions in which learning greater control over your direction of gaze could help.
This game involves the control factor:
- Resisting distractors.
- Waiting for a signal.
- Controlling where to and when to look next.
